 💜Washi tape crafts and hacks💜
I love washi tape. It is a way I can personalize so many things, and you can peal  it off and redo it. I have collected a list of super easy hacks and crafts with washi tape. So, what are you waiting for? Lets get crafting!

1. min washi tape banner
This is super easy and you probably have these materials.

Materials:
  • washi tape. It is best to use a thicker washi tape
  • string
  • scissors
step 1:
cut a piece of washi tape.

Step 2:
cut your string to your desired length.

Step 3:
fold the washi tape in half around the string. Make sure it is flat.

Step 4:
Cut a triangle shape out of the bottom of the piece of washi tape.

Step 5:
repeat until you have filled up the string or happy with your design.

2: Washi tape notebooks
These are easier to make then the look. Trust me.

Materials:
  • note book. DO not use a note book you like, has a design you would rather not cover up, or a notebook you are emotionally attached too. We will be covering up the cover and sealing it, so after that there is no turning back.
  • Our star,washi tape
  • Elmer's glue or modge podge
  • paint brush. Don't use your favorite one we are spreading glue on the note book with this.
STEP 1:
Cover the whole notebook in washi tape. Make sure everything is smooth and the way you want it.

STEP 2:
spread your glue or modge podge on the note book to seal it. Lets be smart and wait for it to dry before using this notebook.

3. washi tape cord hack
This is used to organize your cords. Let me paint you a picture. You probably have some of the same cords plugged in to your outlet. You go to unplug one of them. Then you realize you unplugged the wrong one. This is not a huge problem, it is not stopping world peace, but it is pretty annoying. This is really simple fix.

MATERIALS:
  • cords
  • Our star, washi tape
STEP 1:
unplug you cord.

STEP 2:
tape each cord with a different color.

STEP 3:
To remember which cord goes to what, you can put the washi tape on what ever that cord belongs too.

4: organization hack
This is to help organize all you washi tape. this is self explanatory really. Take an old tin foil or plastic wrap box and put all your washi tape in it. This helps keep it organized and helps to cut the washi tape.

5: washi tape birthday card
I love to make cards. It is probably one of my favorite crafts. Washi tape really helps to do this.

Materials:
  • Paper
  • washi tape
  • something to write with
  • scissors
STEP 1:
Fold the paper in half. You can size it to fit the envelope, or size it to your liking.

STEP 2:
Cut multiple pieces of tape. Make them all different sizes. These will be our candles.

STEP 3:
Place the tape along the paper.

STEP 4:
Draw on the wicks and fire.

STEP 5:
Personalize the card by writing things in side, drawing on it, ect.

6: customizable washi tape pencils
These are sharpener safe.

MATERIALS:
  • Pencils, don't use  your favorite pencil that has puppies on it! We will be covering up this design.
  • washi tape, I recommend using a smooth washi tape. If you use a glitter washi tape, that would probably be very uncomfortable.
  • Elmer's glue or modge podge(optional), You can seal the washi tape so it does not come off the pencil. This is optional because, a good thing about washi tape is that you can tape and re tape again and again.
STEP 1:
Cover the pencil in washi tape from a little bit above the led to the metal eraser. Try to be very exact when taping down the metal part, the part near the led should not be a big problem, because you can sharpen it off.

STEP 2 (optional):
Cover the washi tape on the pencil in Modge Podge or Elmer's glue. Wait for it to dry before using.
